Intergenerational Day

This is our signature fundraising and community awareness event.  It is an interactive fun filled family day with activities designed to have fun, educate participants, and even do a little 'volunteering on the spot'  This event helps support our annual programs.

Operation: Give Back

This program encourages people of all ages to give back to the community together.  Earn points by completing giving challenges individually or as a team!

Special Projects

Throughout the year we select projects that benefit the community.  Past projects have included activity room remodels, planting gardens at facilities, providing activities at adoption match parties, and more!

Quarterly Programs

We host several events each year at different assisted living facilities in Austin.  Most events are open to the community at large.  Past events have included trick-or-treating, dance recitals, Easter elephant visits and more.

Bear H.U.G.s

Bears Handmade by United Generations

Youth and seniors work together to make stuffed animals that are then distributed to other children in need in the community.  We have made and distributed over 600 stuffed animals to children in foster care and emergency shelters.  Participants appreciate working together in this program that is all about 'giving back'.

Intergenerational Art

Youth and seniors work side-by-side to create art.  Each class is held in an assisted living facility and taught by a professional.  Classes are a combination of fine-arts and crafts.  Each series typically ends with an 'art show' where students get to celebrate their success!
